These bedside tables use a hybrid frame and frame-panel construction that provide visual interest yet also allow for straight forward manufacture and facilitate cross grain wood movement. My goal was to celebrate the craft with detailed joinery on the drawers which afford delicate proportions. The bedroom is a private and intimate setting and I wanted this design to reflect that yet at the same time to provide practical space for living.
