Cafe / Occasional Table

The goal here was to design an elegant and sturdy table that would sit well in a homely cafe or work well as an occasional table in living spaces or on a nook on a veranda. In addition the requirement to be easy to manufacture was very important. This represents a culmination of a number of iterations drawing on a strong Scandinavian influence. Although I arrived at this design through the design process it has an archetypal form which others may have arrived at independently.
