Round table made from pale brown timber with round section splayed legs.

The challenge I found with this table was the tendency for the top to twist on radial load. A wobbly table is no good. My initial instinct was to connect the legs with crossed rails however I discovered the rails would need to be very high for this setup to work which ran contrary to my intent. I even tried variations of bending the rails. Yet the solution was hiding in plain sight. Connect leg to leg in a boxed orientation. Sometimes things seem obvious in hindsight but when you’re stuck in a particular paradigm it can take some trial and error to break free.
