Ordering

We make up pieces in our range on a per order basis. We might have stock but it’s unlikely as we are working within constraints. Over time we aim to keep stock of our pieces with a view towards quick lead times but this will take us some time. Contact us if you are interested in any of our work and we can go from there. The crafted process and working with natural materials means there are natural variations from piece to piece. We believe this is worth celebrating. However it does mean that the end product might vary slightly from the photos presented here though the underlying designs will remain the same.

Lead times

At this stage we can’t guarantee delivery dates but we’re honing our working methods so scheduling will get more predictable with time, please bare with us. In addition we take great care making each piece and don’t like rushing the process. That said we can give you a rough estimate of how long it will take on order.

Custom Work

We don’t offer custom work. We have chosen to focus our energies on designing and crafting a simple range instead. This enables us to spend extra resources in the development stage that would be difficult to do with custom work. This is because the resources (and cost) we put into developing one design can be spread over multiples of that design produced. Where as with custom work there is often only one produced of a design making it difficult or costly to invest heavily in its development. We have found we work best focusing on a carefully designed range however we always welcome feedback which will aid in the continuous development of our range. We can recommend a good company in Harare that specializes in custom work if you are set to go that route.

Delivery

We welcome collections however if this is tricky for you we can hire a truck on your behalf. Unfortunately as we are outside Harare this does cost. We can give you a price for delivery when you place an order but for Harare runs expect between $80 and $120 per load depending on where you are located. We don’t markup this cost. Please ensure someone is home and available to help offload. Please never make payments to the delivery driver. If you can’t make payment directly to us let us know and we can arrange collection.

Care

Our furniture is finished with an oil and wax based finish. Wipe spills immediately with a lightly damp cloth. Never use strong cleaning solutions or abrasive scrubbing pads. We can order cleaning and maintenance kits – let us know if you might be interested.

Payment

We accept bank transfers or cash. We will require 50% upfront to secure your order on our schedule and purchase necessary supplies. The balance is due on completion.
